[[Update on Stepdad]]

I am so sorry ya'll!! Life has just been crazy & busy lately and I have no had a chance to get on very much to tell you what has been going on. The times that I did try to get on here the site wouldn't work right. So, now I'm here and I owe y'all an update.

Last week was a pretty crazy week for us in our house. It all started on at 12:30 am on Tuesday morning. I still hadn't gone to bed which I should of but anyways...that night my stepdad had went to bed, his temperature was normal and everything seemed fine. All of a sudden he woke up and the whole bed started shaking. He was shivering! That's how cold he was! He was was so cold and shivering so bad that he could hardly breathe or talk. So, mom called the ambulance and they rushed him to the hospital. I had to stay home with my grandma and little brother because someone had to take care of him and take him to school.

I'm gonna make this long story as short as possible. They had to give him for fluids because he was dehydrated again...and they started running more tests on him. The took a look at his sinus from the beginning so they could rule that out...which they did. That's why I had been saying all along that none of it was his sinuses.

Anyways, so they found an abscess on his liver...Friday morning they did a biopsy on it so they could test it to see if it was cancerous or not. The results came back negative. Thank you God. So he has a tube in his back draining all the infection/drainage out of the abscess and has had a "pic line' inserted that he has to come home with...which is pretty much an IV that he'll have in at home that he will be getting his antibiotics through. The doctor says he'll have that in him for about 4 weeks.

He is looking so much better than he did a few days ago. Of course, he's still weak but, who wouldn't be after going through all that? The doctor did a final CT scan this morning to see how the abscess on his liver was looking...and if the infection was draining off. Which it was. We were hoping that he would come home today but, I just heard from my mom that the doctor came in and talked to him and told him it would probably be 1-2 more days so. He's looking alot better though so y'all just continue to keep him in your prayers. The Lord really has his hand on him. I know it.
