[[ Job Orientation Day 1 & 2 ]]

I know there are several of you out there who are wondering how my job orientation is going for me so far. Yesterday was the 1st day it was good yet very long. To tell you the truth it was kind of boring. I heard alot of speakers and sat most of the day. My butt hurt really bad by the end. I got to meet with my "manager" and I got my schedule for the first 6 weeks which will be my nursing orientation weeks and I'll be starting out with only 8 hour shifts and once orientation is over I'll slip into my regular job schedule of 12 hour shifts. Today was pretty much the same as yesterday but it was a little more interesting...the topics that were discussed I mean.

Tomorrow is supposed to be a little more interesting though. We get to work on IV pumps...and other similar things so it will be a little more interactive instead of just sitting there listening to people talk but hey...I'm getting paid to be there so...it's all good. :) Friday will be some computer classes we gotta take and then I officially start next Monday with the nursing portion of my orientation!! I'm really excited about it and I can't wait to start. I think I really am going to like it.
