[[ A Working Woman ]]

So guess what? Now I am officially a working woman! =] It's finally time for to say that. It's weird telling people that I have to go to work or that I have a job because I've never been able to say that before but now I can! It feels really good too.

Monday was my 1st day on the nursing school & the day went pretty well. I pretty much just shadowed my preceptor who is also a LPN & she is quite good I must say. Very knowledgeable, nice, and helpful. I don't think I could ask for a better person to learn from right now. I've heard good things about her. So I followed her around to see how the whole process works there & helped her out with everything that was needed. We had some good patients & one not so good but the day as a whole was good. It was quite busy & I think I'm really going to like working there. Guess what?? Ha ha...a girl I went to nursing school with works on the same unit as me except a different shift...as I'm coming in...she's getting off. I thought that was pretty cool.

Anyways today I did not have to work...but I had to go in to get trained on their computer system. It was simple and easy...not too hard. So it wasn't that bad of a day except I had a headache all day and had nothing to take...so...when I got home I took some medicine and took a hour and a half nap. After waking up I didn't feel all too well...just blah...but I started feeling better after a while and got to watch American Idol tonight....as always...can't miss it. lol.

Here are my thoughts on tonight's show...I thought it was quite an interesting them. I dunno why they pick such themes like that. Seriously...give the singers songs that they can actually sing!! I mean sure...you want to stretch them a little and see what they are made of but...honestly...the Bee Gees guy sings alot of falsetto stuff and not everyone can do that but whatever.

Anyways...dagum...I definatly have to say that Jordin was my favorite tonight. She blows me out of the water every single week (except for once and that was Bon Jovi week). Anyways, she has such an amazing voice for 17 years old & is going to have an amazing singer career that is for sure.Of course as always...y'all know that I love Blake but...not to be negative but tonight was definately not his night. I do now know what happened...but he wasn't all that great. It doesn't make me love him any less but wow. I was saddened but oh well. We'll see.

I'm busy voting for them both right now.

I think either Lakisha or Blake will be going home this tomorrow night. We'll see.
