Hey! Wow I haven't been on in a long while to update. I am very very sorry. Alot of things have been going on, especially with my crush situations which I don't feel like going into right now. But don't worry, we are still friends lol it has nothing to do with ourselves. Anyways, I don't have enough time to update right so I'm just gonna do my tag challenge.
I was tagged by Lorrie the other day. Now I have to tell you 6 weird things about myself.
1. When I eat peanuts or put ice in my drink or anything like that, I have to have an even amount before I eat it or drink. I dunno why.
2. I have to sleep with my bedroom door closed when I sleep at night. The house just feels creepy & wierd if I don't.
3. In the little container thingy that I have all my pens/pencils in, they all have to be pointing in the same direction. I don't have OCD but do have some OCD tendencies sometimes.
4. I make a mark off each date of the calendar before I go to bed. If I forget & go to bed and remember that I did not do it...I have to get up and do it or it will drive me crazy.
5. Lately, I cannot stand going without socks on my feet, around the house or what I'm going to bed. I'm usually always bare footed...but lately I just can't do it.
6. I must check my e-mail or get on the computer at least 1 time per day if not more. It's like an addiction. lol. There are times whey I can't even get on once for a whole weekend and I don't like it at all.

[[Update on Stepdad]]
I am so sorry ya'll!! Life has just been crazy & busy lately and I have no had a chance to get on very much to tell you what has been going on. The times that I did try to get on here the site wouldn't work right. So, now I'm here and I owe y'all an update.
Last week was a pretty crazy week for us in our house. It all started on at 12:30 am on Tuesday morning. I still hadn't gone to bed which I should of but anyways...that night my stepdad had went to bed, his temperature was normal and everything seemed fine. All of a sudden he woke up and the whole bed started shaking. He was shivering! That's how cold he was! He was was so cold and shivering so bad that he could hardly breathe or talk. So, mom called the ambulance and they rushed him to the hospital. I had to stay home with my grandma and little brother because someone had to take care of him and take him to school.
I'm gonna make this long story as short as possible. They had to give him for fluids because he was dehydrated again...and they started running more tests on him. The took a look at his sinus from the beginning so they could rule that out...which they did. That's why I had been saying all along that none of it was his sinuses.
Anyways, so they found an abscess on his liver...Friday morning they did a biopsy on it so they could test it to see if it was cancerous or not. The results came back negative. Thank you God. So he has a tube in his back draining all the infection/drainage out of the abscess and has had a "pic line' inserted that he has to come home with...which is pretty much an IV that he'll have in at home that he will be getting his antibiotics through. The doctor says he'll have that in him for about 4 weeks.
He is looking so much better than he did a few days ago. Of course, he's still weak but, who wouldn't be after going through all that? The doctor did a final CT scan this morning to see how the abscess on his liver was looking...and if the infection was draining off. Which it was. We were hoping that he would come home today but, I just heard from my mom that the doctor came in and talked to him and told him it would probably be 1-2 more days so. He's looking alot better though so y'all just continue to keep him in your prayers. The Lord really has his hand on him. I know it.

Hey Everyone!
My stepdad came home from the hospital around 1:30 this morning. They did not find anything wrong with his gullbladder. But, they did an MRI and ultrasound on his abdomen to see if they would find anything. They found a spot on his liver that they though might be cancerous. So, they decided to do a CT scan so that they could take a closer look to confirm what was going on. After doing the CT scan, the doctor came in to let them know that the spot was NOT cancerous and it was something that could go away on its own. It's called a hemangioma, it's a noncancerous tumor of dilated blood vessels. It is nothing serious and should fix itself on its own.
Praise God! God is so good. The power of prayer really does work. I truely believe that he is fine because I had alot people praying for him last night. God is just so awesome and I could never thank Him enough. He still has the bad sinusitis part with the fever and all...but other than that. He is doing just fine. Thanks so much for your prayers!

[[ Stepdad Update ]]
Hey! I have an update on my stepdad for ya.
He's been at the hospital for a while. They've run blood tests and x-rays on him. They've been giving him I.V. fluids because he is quite dehydrated. I just recieved word from my mom that they are giving him another bad of fluid right now and...are running a ultrasound on his gullbladder. They said that if they discover that it is his gullbladder instead of his sinuses...like they though all along....they will be admitting him tonight to the hospital and doing surgery tomorrow. I'm not sure what kind yet...I'm waiting for my mom to call and let me know what they are going to.

Hey y'all!
I'd like to ask y'all to keep my stepdad (Jim) in y'all's prayers. He's been sick with a bad sinus infection since Christmas. He's been to 3 different doctors throughout the whole time. The previous doctor's visit they had to give him IV fluids because he was dehydrated and did some x-rays. The x-rays showed that his sinuses were completely blocked on one side and the side was blocked but not as bad. So, they put him on a much stronger antibiotic and he want back today for a follow-up.
I just heard from my mom that they are sending him over to Obici hospital to get some more tests run on him...because they said the antibiotic should have knocked out the infection by now. So, they are going to see if they can find out what is going on with him. The last few days he's been weak and they just really need to figured out what's going on with him. So please keep him in your prayers and I'll keep you all updated on what happens. Thanks so much!

[ New Years Resolutions ]
Ok...so we are already 1 week into the new year! Geeze...how time really flies. Seriously, before we know it...it's gonna be February!! Ahh!! Life just passes by way to fast!! I wish it would just slow down some.
A few things have happened to me already in this new year that I'm both happy about and not so happy about. I have so far kept my New Years resolution of losing weight...I have lost 3 lbs so far and next time I'm going to weigh myself is tomorrow morning so...hopefully that number will change soon.
My crush situation has definately turned in a sorta different direction. I don't want to go into too many details but...we went shopping together on Saturday and some other stuff and it was fun I must say. We had some good conversation but we didn't get into some of the conversations I wanted have but that's ok...there are 365 days in a year so I'm sure we have plenty of time for chit-chat. lol.
So ANYWAYS...we have had some really good talks about where things may or may not go with us and I've found out some things about him that I've been wanting to know and it gives me a whole new outlook on our situation. Things from his past...and just other stuff. About why he is so guarded when it comes to asking girls out and stuff. So, what I'm trying to say is...the way I want our relationship to go is probably not going to happen...not only because of our age difference...but because of other factors.
But we both really do care about each other and he is such an awesome/amazing guy and friend. Words could not describe what kind of friendship we have already. He so open and honest with me...and shows that he has already developed a trust in me which makes me feel good. So...we are good friends and I do still have a crush but I have a feeling that it won't last too much longer...maybe. We'll see. My life is God's hands. I just want to find my Mr. Right and I want him to find his Mrs. Right...I want to see him happy. That's all I care about.
So anyways, enought about that. It's long enough already so I'll update y'all again soon.

[ The Good Life ]
Hey Everyone! Life has been good lately. There is definately nothing to complain about. What has happened to me you ask? Nothing...absolutely nothing. I have had very little stress this past week and it's been great. I'm getting back into my studying habits for nursing school...my brother is back in school...and it's great being home with my mother in the day and doing things that need to be done.
Y'all be keeping my stepdad in your prayers though. He has been sick ever since Christmas time. They say he has a bad sinus infection. He's finally starting to feel human again this week he says but...he's still feeling bad. He's been to 2 Doctors and is going to a 3rd one this afternoon. Hopefully they can get him better soon, he's never had one this bad before.
So what's up for the weekend? I'm gonna go see my daddy and go to church with him on Saturday night. Also, tomorrow evening I may be hanging out with...Josh at the mall! Yes, I am very very excited about this. He's orginally from California and has lived here over a year now and knows nothing about our malls so...I'm taking him. This is giving us a chance to talk more about him and everything else in our lives. That's why we orginally planned it so...it's gonna be fun I think.
I guess that's about it for now. Update again soon!

[[ Happy New Year]]
Happy 2007 Everyone!! YES...I know it has been FOREVER since I last updated...life has just been crazy busy and I haven't had alot of time to do much of my blogging on here.
How was everyones Christmas? Mine was good. I got some clothes, bath stuff, some CDs, and a few other things. My big gift for this year was a $330 VISA gift card from my mom & stepdad to go buy clothes & shoes with so I am REALLY excited about that! =) What girl wouldn't be?
My new years also went well. Ya'll know my crush Josh...lol...I talked to him @ like 7:00 that night and he said he had to do some stuff and he'd call me again later towards midnight. I was like, "Yeah right, you never do it when you say you will." He told me he was serious and that he would this time. So...I waited. Everyone went to bed like party poopers so I stayed up and watched the ball drop by myself. Well, I got in the bed and was having a little bit of trouble falling asleep and sure enough around 1:30...my cell phone rings...it's Josh. Ha ha...it was so funny. We talked for like...30 minutes and it was so fun to be up and talking to someone I like. It was a GREAT way to start off the new year. lol
Anyways, update on the crush situation...he has told me that he does like me...but with the age difference between us, we are not sure what is going to happen. We are leaving the whole situation in God's hands and let him have his way. I hope it's the way I want it to go. ;-) Ha ha, anyways, so I guess that's about it for now. I'll talk to y'all soon!
