Before I explain the title of my blog for today...let me rewind to yesterday at around 6:30 pm. Our local skating rink had a special skating event for one of the local elementary school...which most of my little cousins go to so they invited my brother to come along with them. I didn't go but I met them there & watched all the kids (and big kids aka "adults") skate for the last hour which can become quite entertaining. Well, sometime in the last 20 minutes of the skate session...by brother "N" was skating and a kid got in front of him suddenly and accidentally tripped him. So "N" falls forward on his hands and falls on top of his hand with his fist balled up.
He comes off the rink crying a little and complaining that his arm hurts really bad as he tells us the story....so my aunt immediately starts praying for it. After we got him some ice just in case it started swelling...but it didn't...thank God! Just touching the top his arm hurt...so we went about the rest of our night as usual...when we got up this morning...his wrist area & up his arm a little was swollen much more than it was so mom had him stay home from school so my grandma & I could take him to the doctor to get it checked.
So that's what we did & he got his 1st x-rays done. Come to find out...he had a very small fracture and so his doctor sent him to a bone specialist down the street from the doctor's office & sure enough he needed a cast...so he got a red one because that's mom's favorite color. Isn't he so sweet?? lol. So that's pretty much what we spent all morning.
Tonight gonna get to watch our men's softball team play. Can't wait...they haven't won any yet but I know they will. Besides they are still in their "grapefruit" game season where it's not counting yet...so...we'll see.
Have a good rest of your Monday!
